Bill Marmion is currently the Western Australian Minister for Mines and Petroleum and Housing.

An engineer by profession, Bill was first elected to parliament in 2008.  He has served in a range of roles including Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier and Minister for Commerce; Science and Innovation; Housing; Minister Assisting the Treasurer; and Minister for Water and the Environment.

As Minister for Mines he is committed to a stable regulatory environment to ensure Western Australia remains a destination of choice for the resource sector. He is driving legislation to bring down the cost of doing business in Western Australia.
